Cosmetic Dentistry

Other than your eyes, your smile is one of your most important features. It has been shown that someone who meets you for the first time looks at your eyes and your two front teeth. We are always evolving and improving our techniques and treatment options, so it is amazing to say that year after year we improve. Dentistry has become more comfortable and much more predictable of a science. But there still remains that portion of density that is an art.

  • If you are hesitant to smile
  • If you are self-conscious of your smile
  • Reverse the damage of time
  • If you are looking to improve your teeth

Then it is possible you are looking for the right cosmetic dentist.

Cosmetic dentistry pushes past the average; it pushes back against time. We always say a great smile is timeless. As we age, our teeth do not have to, and with our cutting edge techniques and advanced materials can get your smile looking its best. We do not stop there; it is not enough for something to look nice on the outside and begin to break down later. Quality is the most important factor in cosmetic dentistry. We are particular, and in the course of repairing, rebuilding and, indeed, creating a new smile, we restore health. When the foundations of the teeth are improved, then the appearance we create is, yes, beautiful, but also stable. It is maintainable. It is, in essence, a rare return investment in form and function.

Many times in creating a new look for a patient Dr. Stange pulls from his Fine Arts training. It is not uncommon to catch him with a pencil, working out shapes and sizes of teeth for each individual. There is no cookie cutter look we are going for. There is an individual beauty that he looks for. Teeth are certainly functional art.

This may mean Invisalign® for a time. This may mean veneers for someone. A tooth replaced with an implant for another. Someone else may need gum re-contouring. The spaces surrounding great teeth are the gums. Healthy gum tissue is an important boundary that many overlook. In fact, balance to a smile means symmetry and sometimes that symmetry is not only tooth related; it might mean changing and improving the gum tissues. In any course taken, we look to create a smile that is balanced, healthy and in harmony with the facial aesthetics of that the unique and individual person.
