A Focus on Your Oral Health
One of our strengths is listening. Dr. Stange spends an entire appointment with each new patient in order to learn and listen. We do not only review the mouth. Dental health overlaps into many body systems. It is not uncommon for us to speak about medical conditions which may have their origin in the mouth. The head and neck all influence the mouth and vice versa. Our examination is comprehensive. We spend time reviewing the TMJ and associated musculature. We look into subtle changes in the teeth or gum tissues that may spur new conversations and concerns. Dr. Stange may speak with the patient’s physician concerning sleep apnea or medications. He may even review the airway and dental structures with a 3D CBCT scan. Each plan may be different, but the same detailed knowledge goes into everyone’s evaluation.
